To the nature monument Birnbachloch
This beautiful hike starts in the Ullachtal from where it initially goes over Almboden direction Steinberge. Half way there is a small refuge, which is the ideal place for a break. Now you walk through mountain pine along the Birnbaches past Central Europe's smallest glacier to the foot of the Leogang mountains. Here you can expect pure spring water that flows directly from the karst spring Birnbachloch. After enjoying the magnificent panorama, it's back to the starting point. Calculate about 2 - 2 ½ hours walking time for the hike. From 5-6 years, this tour is a real experience for children. Especially diligent can also start directly at the pension (about 4-5 hours).
